I am a graphic designer looking for a web developer to build a website for my customer using my web designs.
Firstly thank you for taking timeout to visit our website, we know how busy it is for web and graphic designers alike, right now we (the industry) are seeing a huge increase in demand for web designers, ecommerce web shops and website marketing services. Since November 2010 the market is back in growth mode, web designers such as you and web developers such as Fusionsoft are working in partnership to reap the rewards of a recovering market.

In 1998 when we built our first website web development was a very different beast, the concept of web developers had not been established, they were more programmer than developer. Web content management systems were also few and far between.
Early in our development, as the business grew, we took a strategic decision not to employ dozens of graphic designers in house, we did this for two reasons, we wanted to keep the development team sleek and efficient, especially from a cost perspective, but more than this, we felt that having a large internal design team would limit creativity. For this reason, we have always worked with external graphic designers, freelancer and graphic designers employed by our customers.
Today we work with a wide range of graphic and web designers, we retain a small team of web designers in house but tend to use these for specific in house projects, more often than not we are working with a clients advertising agency / design team or we bring in fresh web design skills based on the project’s design objectives.
Whilst we often take the lead role in web development projects, mainly due to Fusionsoft being the prime contractor, we also work with graphic designers who take up the prime contractor role. We are flexible in our approach, you can work with us, we will work with you, or we will work directly with your client keeping the web development and graphic design elements separate if that suits you better. The choice is yours.
Hassle free ecommerce web shops
As well as providing bespoke web development services we also have our own ecommerce web solution. Many graphic designers turn down ecommerce web shop projects as the back end configuration is a pain, and managing ecommerce webs shops is time consuming and, well, not that interesting. Over the years we have been approached by many web designers and graphic designers asking us to take on their ecommerce enquiries, which we were happy to do.
This set us thinking, was there an alternative? The answer was definitely yes there certainly was, we went away and redeveloped our ecommerce web shop, we had two main goals, make the front end simple enough that a graphic designer can concentrate on great design that he could easily drop onto the ecommerce web shop and build an environment that was excellent at on page SEO search engine optimisation. The outcome, well, it will be launched at the end of the year, an ecommerce web shop with all the power of an Amazon website but simple and easy to use.
The result, fantastic looking ecommerce web shops that are easy to use, easy to maintain and deliver great results in search engines.
