Website Marketing
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) - Pay Per Click - Prices
The Options
The most
important aspect of any website is the way in which it is marketed.
Unfortunately, many websites aren’t marketed at all by their owners. They may
have heard about tools such as Pay Per Click (PPC), Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Viral Marketing, but they’ve probably
never used them. As a result, they’re missing out on the whole point of
having a website - to bring visitors that are interested in your product or
service to your attention.
There is
more to Website Marketing than just search engine optimisation and pay per
click advertising; you need a rounded campaign and a strategy to grow your
online sales. We will help you to maximise your website opportunities, increase
click through rates and help you to understand who is actually visiting your
website. More importantly, if your visitors are not buying, we can help you
find out why.
Don’t lose out!
The Internet has enabled millions of businesses to develop their own low-cost ‘online shop’. However, many of these lose out on potential customers - even if they have a slick, highly animated, world wide, award-winning website. This is because:
- The website can’t be found - No-one knows where it is, so it attracts few sales. Unlike a High Street shop, websites don’t have a captive audience.
- Customers don’t just ‘pass by’ - Online shops don’t benefit from potential customers walking past their window display on their way to big brand shops.
- It simply gets lost in the crowd - Not marketing your website using Pay Per Click, Search Engine Optimisation or Viral Marketing is a bit like searching in the dark for a particular shirt that’s for sale in a shop somewhere in London. Actually, it’s worse than that - because on the Internet, ‘shops’ have millions of online competitors selling the same or similar products.
The key issues
Traditional retailers know the power of promoting their shops and their products. Similarly, Website shops need to be marketed effectively. So why do most website owners ignore PPC , SEO and VM? Here are some possible reasons:
- Cost - The owner may be worried about the possible costs; or just confused about these tools.
- Complexity - Search engine optimisation (SEO) is extremely complex and results aren’t achieved overnight. Like any other trade, it requires expert knowledge and skill.
- Performance - Pay Per Click isn’t difficult to set up, but in the wrong hands it can cost a fortune to go up the learning curve, leading to a poor return on investment.
- Results – Your Pay Per Click campaign is getting clicks but no one is actually buying your product.
With our
extensive experience and specialist skills, we can allay these fears, all of
our search specialists are on the Google Professionals Programme. Fusionsoft
has been designing and developing websites for more than ten years.
However, unlike many of our competitors, we have also been using search engine
optimisation (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques supported with
a website marketing strategy, to drive traffic to our customers’ websites. Our
search engine consultants have over 50 years’ combined experience. We
specialise in two of the key aspects of online marketing: Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click, however, more recently we have
been achieving huge success with Viral Marketing, especially with Video.
Checkout our own video, we achieved a page one Google listing in under 48
hours. Imagine what that could do for your sales!
Why should you call us today? Because we will provide a free website review and website
marketing review, that way you will know what could be achieved before you make
your investment. We will review:
- Your website and its ability to compete against your competitors websites
- We will review your current search engine optimisation performance
- We will review your Pay Per click campaigns
We will then tell you what can be done to improve your current search engine
optimisation and pay per click advertising results, what else you should be
doing to increase your website traffic and if you choose us to help, what it
would cost. There is absolutely no commitment to buy anything.
Our challenge
is to make sure that your keywords appear on the first page of Google and other
chosen search engines. For instance, If you sell luggage, then ‘luggage’ is one
of the keywords words that should appear on the first page of Google. When
building a website, two thirds of the budget should go on website
marketing. Ultimately, it’s better to have a single page website where
your keywords place your website on the first page of Google, Yahoo and Bing,
rather than a 100 page award-winning designed website that can’t be found.
Try this real example:
Antler, the luggage company, is one of our eCommerce website customers. Type the keyword luggage into Google; there are nearly 53 Million web pages competing
for the keyword luggage, Antler's website is consistently in the top 5 results.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Although Pay Per Click advertising delivers fast results
and is effective, it is an ongoing cost, when you stop paying, the clicks stop
coming. Natural organic listings can deliver you a longer term solution and
although natural or organic SEO also requires ongoing support, you do not have
to pay for each click.
The bad
news: Many small or independent web developers do not understand the complex
algorithm that determines where websites sit in the search results. There are
two hundred different elements that determine your websites search position,
like a formula 1 race car, each element needs to be finely tuned to deliver a
podium finish.
The good
news: Fusionsoft’s consultants have extensive experience, and know how to
maximise your website to provide a front page listing on the major search
engines (such as Google, Yahoo and Bing). Although on page optimisation is very
important, and definitely the first task in optimising your website, it is not
just about on page set up, you need an off page strategy to achieve a first
page result.
Search Engine Optimisation - Keeping in touch
Acquiring
and maintaining a thorough understanding of search engine optimisation is a big commitment,
which is why most smaller or independent web developers don’t make the
investment. The formula is always changing, as the major search engine
providers strive to maintain a level playing field. Fusionsoft provides
continuous staff training to ensure that we are up to date with all of the
latest developments and stay two steps ahead of the competition.
Another important factor in both Search engine optimisation and Pay Per Click advertising is pre-campaign research. You need to know:
- The correct keywords to use (and variations of these)
- What your competitors are using and which keywords are working for them
- The keywords that your target audience use when searching
- And in PPC terms, what is the cost of the keywords and are there more cost effective alternatives
Fusionsoft provides all of this research as part of our online marketing services.
Search Engine Optimisation - The tools
We use
many different tools to carry out our research, and more tools to deliver the
optimisation, on and off the page. We also use only ethical tools and an
ethical approach to obtaining you a sustainable position. As with many markets
there are shortcuts to a quick result, often referred to as Black Hat
techniques. These are illegal, and if you are caught, Google, Bing and Yahoo are
likely to ban your website, not just temporarily... but permanently. As well as
being illegal, these tools and techniques only provide short term fixes; you
may appear on the first page of Google for hours, rather than months.
All of
the tools and techniques that we use are designed to deliver you a first page
position and to sustain the position with minimal maintenance to keep you
there.
Before we
embark on any search engine optimisation campaign, we first need to benchmark
your website, against the industry norm and a few of your competitors, only
then can we agree a strategy with you, we can also agree the goals for success.
We
provide a free website review and website marketing review, as well as being free
there is no commitment on your part. At the end of the review you are free to
move forward with us or one of our competitors, or not at all.
Call us
today to see how we can help you increase your traffic and close more sales.
Remember to ask about our search engine optimisation 100% money back guarantee.
Search Engine Optimisation - Putting our money where our mouth is
We are so confident that we can deliver you a first page listing on Google that we are prepared to provide a 100% money back guarantee. If we do not deliver we will give you a 100% refund.
Pay Per Click (PPC)
This popular technique directs visitors to your website via micro-adverts displayed on the major search engines and their affiliated search partners. You write a short advert about your product or service and bid for the keyword used. The search provider then calculates all of the bids in real time and displays the adverts in order of both relevancy of the website page and price. When a customer clicks on your advert, they are then redirected to the relevant page of your website. Each time this happens, you are charged for the click (referral). This is a highly effective way of advertising your website products and services online.
The basics
Google’s Pay Per Click tool is called AdWords. AdWords adverts appear on
the right hand side of a Google search and one or two usually appear on the top
of the main page, above the organic search results. These are known as
‘sponsored links’. Other providers include Yahoo and Bing have their own brand for Pay Per Click advertising.
Pay Per
Click providers also have relationships with affiliates; other websites
that
are paid a share of the income to display your adverts on their websites
too, which significantly widens the audience for your advert.
The bad
news: If your campaign is set up poorly, you can spend a lot of money for
little return. We have many customers who set up their account on their own and
wasted thousands of pounds before asking for help. Unlike search engine optimisation, if
you don’t understand how to make pay per click advertising work for you, at
best you will miss out on a lot of opportunities, at worst, it will cost you a lot of money.
The good
news: Fusionsoft will set up your pay per click advertising campaign for you
and will maximise your marketing to ensure a high return on investment. We will
also prepare and manage your Pay Per Click campaign and show you how to change your website
content to achieve maximum benefit from the clicks that come through.
There is
more to Pay Per Click than just paying more than your nearest rival. Bidding
higher to be on the top doesn’t work, if your website content is not relevant,
you might not even feature on the first page. Like search engine
optimisation, if you are not on the first page then you should save your money.
Only 2% of those that search browse to a second page, if the result they are
looking for are not displayed on the first page, they refine their search and
try again.
We would
obviously want to manage your entire pay per click campaign, however, we are
realistic, the major search provider have made their tools very easy to use,
once your campaign is up and running we will be pleased to handover the
campaign to you to manage.
Pay Per Click advertising - Is it working for you?
We will provide
a free review of your pay per click advertising campaign, we don’t need
to log
into your account, you can share access to your campaign via our own
Google Profesionals account, search providers give pay per click
advertising agencies their own master account to allow
them to manage multiple customer campaigns from one place. We won’t have
access to any of your personal
details or bank accounts; you are always in control and can grant and
deny permission to
your campaign as you wish.
We
are not incentivised by the search providers to gain more clicks, unlike some
of our competitors, we do not receive any income from the clicks you receive.
You pay directly for your click traffic.
To find
out how we can increase your click to sale ratio, give us a call now on 01895
255633. Time is money, maximise both now.
Pay Per Click - What to do next
Remember, we will provide a free review of your current pay per click
campaign, once we have reviewed your campaign we will tell you what you
can do to improve your click to sale ratio.
Prices
Pay Per Click (PPC) Prices
The bulk of the cost of a Pay Per Click campaign will be the actual
cost of the clicks themselves, it is difficult to provide a price for
clicks without first knowing your product and your market. However, it
is fair to say that in many sectors prices can cost as little as 10p per
click. The more clicks you receive the more you spend. There are a
couple of additional payment options, as an alternative to pay per click
you may wish to consider paying for impressions, with this option you
pay per 1,000 impressions rather than per click. Another option for
busier websites is pay per success, if your sales volumes for a
particular product are high, you can bid to pay per sale. The merits
and benefits of these options can be discussed and agreed before we
embark on your campaign.
For all PPC campaigns we charge a set up fee, the fee is dependent on the size of the campaign, set up charges start from £199.
